Sockeye salmon struggle upstream during the spawning season near Adams Lake in British Columbia, Canada. The day was clear and bright, creating sun sparkles on the water's surface. The sparkles were so bright I could barely see below the surface of the water, but with a circular polarizer on the lens, I simply clicked the shutter and hoped for the best. This photo received an Honourable Mention in the Kamloops Art Council juried art show.
Honored to have this featured in the following groups:

While working behind the lens, I can become so absorbed in the process that I lose all awareness of time, my environment, and the people around me. When I capture an image that really works, I feel a kind of "click" deep inside my core. I describe it as "... click goes the shutter, click goes my soul." Thank you for visiting.
