This is a photograph of an organic residue I found on a tidal beach. It is very interesting - the shapes and patterns one can find in nature.

While working behind the lens, I can become so absorbed in the process that I lose all awareness of time, my environment, and the people around me. When I capture an image that really works, I feel a kind of "click" deep inside my core. I describe it as "... click goes the shutter, click goes my soul." Thank you for visiting. I see the woman's face and her long flowing whiteish hair . . . very beautiful! ~ Cher (I will stop commenting on this photo now, LOL)

Okay, now I see a woman's breast in this piece! I'm sure as I look at it more I will see a variety of things. ~ Cher

Cher - Thanks for your comment. Transformation is a good descriptor for this photograph of oil slick on a tidal beach (organic oil slick, not the polluting kind (gas or oil). I have several streams of work in progress at this point..... abstract images is one of them. I will post more like this here, as I find the time.

Linda, This is a really interesting photograph. I saw a few things in it . . . and all together they were summed up with the word, "Transformation." I also saw this as a "she," if you will. It just feel feminine to me and like she is at a point of transformation in her life cycle (we go through so many). I really like it. It's a lot different from your other work. ~ Cher
