I captured this image at the annual Kamloopa Pow Wow in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada where I was inspired by the feast of color in the dancers' regalia, the beat of the drum, and the high-pitched wail of native voices in song. Using camera movement as my paintbrush, and light as my paint, I hope to forever capture and honor the spirit of these beautiful people in a collection I call "Pow Wow Spirit".
Honored to have this image featured in the following groups:

While working behind the lens, I can become so absorbed in the process that I lose all awareness of time, my environment, and the people around me. When I capture an image that really works, I feel a kind of "click" deep inside my core. I describe it as "... click goes the shutter, click goes my soul." Thank you for visiting. Please enjoy the unique and diverse "Views by Linda." www.viewsbylindaphotography.com Share
